Carbona's unique value prop is that there's a ton of scientific research in each tiny bottle that seeks out and eliminates stains on a molecular level. The social content was our opportunity to connect with and educate consumers on why Carbona is better than its competitors. Compelling them to stop and buy while walking down supermarket aisles. It was important that the content be bright, fun, and informative. Timeliness was also of utmost importance. You may not assume that stains can have seasonal ties, but they do. Carbona's social content would need to be relatable, funny, and eye-catching to be most effective.
Content featured a series of quote-based posts showcasing real product reviews from several of the thousands of Carbona loyalists. Pairing their powerful words with emotive imagery, while leveraging the bright optimistic color palette of Carbona, proved effective for the brand. Oh, and who doesn't like cute little fuzzy puppies?
Speaking of color-blocking! Bright and vibrant colors in overabundance were use to grab viewers attention and unload important information that could save their most sentimental keepsakes. This direction was perfect for highlighting products like Color Grabber, Color Run Remover, and Super White, connecting on the pain points of the dreaded color-bleed and the satisfaction of maintaining the brightest white fabrics.
